20 foot containers can expand from 3,000W of solar up to 6,000W. 40 foot containers can expand from 3,000W up to 12,000W of solar in the future. How do you charge a solar power combiner?
Now let's turn that solar power on. Go outside to the combiner box and flip the breaker on the inputs you're using. Then go inside and turn on the 20amp Breaker. You'll see both lights turn on in the DC Midnite SPD, and the charge controller will slowly ramp up until the full amount of power is coming in. Now you're charging your battery!
Are Sok batteries good for a Cerbo?
The nice thing about the SOK batteries is that the BMS is built in, and it should just be talking to the Cerbo without needing to change much. We've been using this system for about 6 months, and on average produce 6kWh a day, with most of that coming from the mini-split air conditioner.
